Post-Operative Penile Stretching is Essential to the Success of Penis Enlargement Surgery

helping hand extenderThe Helping Hand Extender is a medically proven device that utilizes the principle of traction to lengthen the penis. Used in Europe, (marketed under a different name) it is classified as a Medical Device Type1, and holds the European Certification of Health(CE).

Using sound medical principles, the Helping Hand Extender can safely increase the tissue volume of the penile shaft by using the body's own ability to generate new tissue. This growth occurs due to the reaction capacity of the tissues to undergo cellular multiplication when they are subjected to a continuous force of traction.

The device is comprised of a plastic ring connected to two dynamic metal rods. At the tip of the device the plastic support ring holds the glans penis in place using a soft silicone band. It can be worn without discomfort whether walking, sitting, or standing, and can be easily removed.

There are two types of Helping Hand Extenders:

  1. The Mini : For penises less than 4.33 inches (10 cms) length in erection.
  2. The Regular : For penises more than 4.4. inches (10 cms) length in erection.

The use of the Helping Hand Extender is essential for good postoperative results for the following reasons:

  1. It maintains the penis in the proper position and tension allowing the fat grafts to heal without lumps or irregularities.
  2. It prevents the penis from retracting to it's original position before healing in the forward position takes place.
  3. It's continued use can actually increase length gain over a period of 6 months.

The fee for Extender is $399 and we are available at all times to answer proper use and maintance questions. Also see our Post-Operative Penile Stretching Frequently Asked Questions.

Scientific Principle

The principle of traction is commonly used in plastic surgery for tissue expansion. The regeneration of new tissue through the traction method has many surgical applications including those of cutaneous defects, burns, and areas of hair loss. This method is also used in orthopedic surgery to enlarge the diaphysis of long bones and phalanges.

An age-old, proven medical technique, the principle of traction was first used by ancient cultures, and today is seen in its extreme form to enlarge different parts of the body in the "Giraffe Women" of the Paduang tribe in Birmania as well as other tribal groups who attach prothesis or weights for elongation of lips and ears.

How It Works

The Helping Hand Extender applies a traction force of between 600 to 1500 grams (approximately 21 oz. - 53 oz.) of weight across the axis of the penis during continued periods of time. This force, gently extends the cellular structure causing an increase in cellular mitosis and results in cell tissue growth over a period of time.

Clinical Studies indicate that when viewed under a microscope, this gently traction force results in an increase in the total number of cells produced by the body in the area where the force is applied.

The Results?

The Helping Hand Extender has a proven record of increasing the total length of the penis in both erect and flaccid states. AND, it also increases the volume of the penile shaft in erect and flaccid states.

Both increases are permanent and there are no changes to the erectile and orgasmic functions.
