Phalloplasty Clinical Study — Patient Satisfaction Survey

Methodology

A quantitative primary research study was performed from 2000 through 2002, sampling previous patients who’ve had the Minimally Invasive Surgical Laser (MISL) technique invented by Dr. Giunta.

After performing thousands of Penis Enlargement procedures over a ten-year period, a Patient Satisfaction Survey was mailed to a sample patient list to determine the level of patient satisfaction with the results. Two hundred patients were queried in the sample at random. A sample questionnaire was mailed to these patients, and included a seven-question survey form (see questionnaire). As well, some patients were contacted by telephone.

Results

44 people responded to the questionnaire (22%). This response rate exceeded the standard response rate for this type of survey according to pre-established industry standards.
NOT ONE patient reported being “completely unsatisfied” (not at all satisfied) with the results of Dr. Giunta’s surgery.
When asked if they were satisfied with their results in both length and thickness gains, 28 respondents, or 64% said they were “fully” satisfied with the gains they achieved in both length and thickness.
Of the remaining 16 patients who reported, 63% (10 patients) stated they were “fully” pleased with either the length gains they achieved or the thickness gains they achieved (7 patients out of 10). Not one patient reported being “not at all satisfied” with either the length or thickness gained.
Of the patients polled, 100% reported no complications with some patients reporting from over three years ago.
93.2% said they would recommend Dr. Giunta’s MISL Penis Enlargement Surgery to someone else.

Survey Analysis

The overwhelming majority of patients polled reported that there had been considerable improvement in the length and/or thickness of gains after their surgery (virtually 100% patient satisfaction with gains in length and/or thickness).
Of the three patients who would not recommend the surgical technique, two said they’d do it over again.
